One of my very favorite humans in the world was Diane Cucci. Not only did she love, love, LOVE old fabrics and trims, she knew where to get amazing stuff. She was generous with her knowledge, of which she had much, and filled with kindness for other textile lovers and seamstresses. I got a lot of very nice things from her. Sadly, Diane passed away unexpectedly this past July. But her daughters will continue selling her wonderful textiles until they’re gone. You can find her shop HERE.
