The best laid plans . . . do often go astray. Lavinia’s first dress was meant to be ready for fall (thus the short sleeves) but “life” got in the way.
So here we are.
Mornings tend to be chilly, so she may want to add a cozy shawl. On the other hand, she’s young, and excited to be entering her first season in society. Adreneline and dreams of dancing with eligible young men have added a permanent blush to her cheeks which might well warm her from the inside out for months to come!
I’m knocked over by the result. Lavinia must be over the moon with this gorgeous gown. Fabulous! You really are an inspiration!
